How I Eat
I eat 80% Paleo 100% of the time. =) I am a huge advocate for natural foods. My heart aches for what most Americans put in their bodies as fuel. You wouldn't put bad gas in a car....it doesn't run well or efficiently. Why would you put bad food in your body? You feel better and move more efficiently with the good stuff.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I love me some 810 CrossFit.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
.....and a momma chasing four kids. =) You need some for athleticism to handle our crazy busy family life. =)
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I train other people
I am married to CrossFit. Literally. =) I thought CrossFit was for insane wrestler-types like my hubby, Joe DeGain. However, there came a day when I needed to feel empowered at a lower point in life and CrossFit changed my world. I am the most confident I have ever been. Feeling great. Best shape of my entire life. Amazing. Words do not do justice to express how becoming a CrossFit athlete and trainer has reshaped my new beautiful world.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I am a big fan of 3 days on, rest. Two days on, rest. Works for my body and schedule.
