I am a Mom of 4 crazy boys - which is exactly why I crossfit. Crossfit keeps me strong physically and mentally and keeps me sane all around. I spent my first year of Crossfit pregnant and nursing a new baby. last year was my come-back year and was amazing. I am amazed and thrilled at the progress I have made this year. And I am PUMPED to see what I can do in the upcoming year! The Open is a great kickoff to all things Awesome! Can't wait!!


How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I am a nursing Mama, so my calories have to remain high when I am working out. I stay close to Paleo, but not strict 100% of the time.

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I played youth or high school level sports

If Dance is considered a sport..... I have been a dancer my whole life. However, it's hard to find ways to keep in shape dancing as you get older. So I turned to running and have been a distance runner for the past 9 years. CrossFit gives me so much more....

My Experience With CrossFit

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I always say that with CrossFit, I found what I have always been looking for without even knowing I was looking for it. I stumbled upon it really, but I was in love from the get go. I worked out all through my pregnancy up until two weeks before delivery and felt great througout. After delivering my baby boy, I was back in the gym after just three weeks and felt great. CrossFit has indeed changed the way I think about health in fitness in every way.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

As a mom of 4 boys, I find it hard to get to the gym every day. But I do have a garage gym that I use the days I am unable to get to the box. I also still run and am currently training for an Ultra relay race in September, so I am building my mileage back up to a competitive distance. The days I don't CrossFit, I typically run.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

6-12 months

Just one year..... although 9 months of that year have been while pregnant and modifying.
