Pretty average athlete through H.S. Lifted weights on and off most of my life. Stepped it up in the last 10 years. Now lift fairly heavy for max. strength building to compliment CrossFit goals. Feel my overall greatest "strength" is still yet to come. Still have a lot of work to do on anything overhead. "Being older" to me, means stepping it up pretty hard to offset things you can't control. If you continue to get stronger than you were the year before, everything gets better. The "age of the parts" does not always need to define or mentally stand in the way of the result you want. Turning up the dial gets it done, no matter what level you end up at. All about always improving, one lb. at a time and doing the best you can on any given day. Hope to do better than last year is the goal.
