I am now 5+ years into crossfit. I eat Paleo and always trying to get better. Over 45 years old and still hanging with the younger crowd. I may not hit the PR's like I used to but I work hard and push myself to get better.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat about 95% paleo and have 1-3 cheat meals per week.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
I was never an Athlete until I was almost 40 yrs old. Besides crossfit I am also a triathlete.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
Crossfit turned me into an Athlete. I was almost 40 when I found crossfit and never looked back. I did not think it was possible to get stronger and faster at my age and was proved wrong. I cannot believe where I am today I push myself all the time and plan on competing in the master division in a couple of years.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I rest at least once a week. I will occasionally push several days including endurance training.
