I have swam my entire life and competed at Fordham University. I'm a currently an assistant swim coach at Drew University.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I train other people
One of my friends introduced me to cross-fit style workouts. I would do them on my own. After getting burned out doing this, a co-worker would borrow workout from an affiliate which we would do as a staff. Unfortunately, that died down but I was kinda hooked. I eventually did a free teaser class at Cross-Fit Morristown and I couldn't get enough of it. Signed up the next day and have been doing it now for 9 months now. The Box, coaches, and community have had a major impact on my life. I now have a more positive outlook on life and fitness. It has made me a better coach and person. I have incorporated what I have learned from cross-fit and taught it to my swimmers. They too are now hooked and many are thinking of joining the box or others when they go home for the summer.
