How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
I follow a primal diet but occasionally cheat with grain. I try to stay clear of gluten and any processed foods and I take Omega's every day.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I workout mostly at home, work, or a traditional gym
I write my own programming
I work out at Crossfit, train for runs when they are upcoming, and row at home most mornings. I recently purchased a bike and can't wait to get started with that in the hopes of competing in a tri.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I ran in high school and picked it back up as an adult but other than that, have very little athletic background except the globo-gym and yoga here and there.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I generally row every morning and WOD in addition to a 5k row 3-5 times a week.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I discovered Crossfit in OBX by mistake while on vacation. I was hooked on day one and had already located a box near me days before coming home. Almost two years later, I remain hooked and while I have a long way to go, I am constantly amazed at the accomplishments I continuously make.
