How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
My diet most closely resembles a mediterranean diet, but with minimal grain, no and legumes
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I participate in a cross fit class at a CrossFit affiliate.
My Athletic Background
I have no formal training and have never played a competitive sport. I played recreational softball years ago. I first joined a gym in 1989 or so and have been fairly consistent since then in maintaining an exercise program that includes weight training, fitness classes, running, biking, and swimming. I've participated in organized runs and riding events but all have been non-competitve undertakings. I do these things because I can, and am mindful of how fortunate I am to be able to say that. In other words, I am grateful for my good health, I do what I can to maintain it and I do not take it for granted.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I do Cross Fit three times a week. On the other three, I mix it up - swim, run or practice Pilates. I bike to work most days.
