Bio

Competed in the Crossfit Games 2009 (came in 10th on 1st event-rolling across finish line from heat stroke cuased by my taking an allergy medication before the run. Sadly I couldn't finish the weekend), 2010 - 3rd, 2011 -had a baby girl, 2012 - 5th. 2013 - 3rd. I began crossfitting 3months before the 2009 games. Before crossfit, I was a recreational gymnast, enjoyed mountain biking, snow boarding, roller blading, aerial fabric, rock climbing, and running. I had never done lifting before CrossFit and wasn't a collegiate athlete. I have enjoyed growing with this sport, and watching the sport grow.

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

I workout mostly at home, work, or a traditional gym

We put a rogue rig in the backyard. Training at home gives me more time with my family and for my 4th grade teaching job.

My biggest priority is my daughter/family. Since I work full time as a teacher, I have time for 1 workout a day. I try to keep my workouts to an hour. Sometimes they take 1.5 hours at most.
