Bio

Grew up in CA working that beach muscle in the gym but mainly living for outdoor sports like windsurfing, snowboarding, mtbiking, free diving, surfing - you name it. Found CrossFit in 2009 and quickly figured it would improve my lifestyle. Now it IS my lifestyle. Engineer, trainer, father, disciple of science. Proudly partnered with EatingPrimal.com, DrinkFitAid.com, Exo.co, DrinkSuerte.com and SPN.com

ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

Full blown "paleo with privileges."

How I Train

In a nutshell: Lift heavy stuff slow, light stuff fast, and keep the turbines running while not blowing too many fuses or bursting any pipes - although I do get dented up now and then.

My Athletic Background

I only have war stories at this point - nothing serious.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I train other people

My Work/Rest Schedule

About 3-5 crossfit WODS/week with some Oly in between. My "rest" days are chewed up throwing ice axes and pulling on rocks with my girl, snowboarding the backcountry with my dog Bear, mtbiking, cycling, and hiking. I don't plan rest days, they take me hostage as needed.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

4+ years
