Found CrossFit in 2009 and quickly figured it would improve my lifestyle. Now it IS my lifestyle. 4X Games competitor. Engineer, trainer, father, disciple of science. Full blown "paleo with privileges."
How I Train
In a nutshell: Lift heavy stuff slow, light stuff fast, and keep the turbines running while not blowing too many fuses or bursting any pipes - although I do get dented up now and then.

My Work/Rest Schedule
About 3-5 crossfit WODS/week with some Oly in between. My "rest" days are chewed up throwing ice axes and pulling on rocks with my girl, snowboarding the backcountry with my dog Bear, mtbiking, cycling, and hiking. I don't plan rest days, they take me hostage as needed.
