I am originally from England and have been working in the US for the past 10 years, and launched my own business, Val Wright Consulting, last year. I have helped companies (and especially owners and CEOs) develop a mindset for growth, utilizing my experience working along some of the worlds greatest innovators at companies including Xbox, Amazon, LinkedIn and Microsoft. I achieved my Crossfit Level 1 Trainer certificate in 2013.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
I have been eating paleo for the last 5 years, and have never felt better. My cheat days sometimes overtake my strict days and that is when I know it is time to get serious again. I am 42 days into a 56 day nutrition challenge at my local box and feel wonderful again!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
With three young girls sometimes I don't get to my box as often as I would like, so I take the tabatas to my garden and my daughters join in.

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I first started crossfit 6 weeks after my first daughter was born, with a coach at a regular gym that was a CF certified coach and never looked back. I became stronger and fitter than ever before and was able to continue to train throughout my twin pregnancy thanks to a great coach (Nadia Shatila) and the guidance of www.crossfitmom.com I thought I would be in the CF Games opens. Now all my three daughters love doing burpees! When we moved from Seattle to Los Angeles last year, my first thought is where will I workout? I am delighted to have found a new community and extended family at crossfit626.

I usually only do 1 workout a day
