How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
Pretty much stick to versions of Paleo and Zone. Majority of my diet is protein, vegies and fruit.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I write my own programming
I record my workouts
I workout at CrossFit Scottsdale 3+ times per week and the other days I program my own workouts around CrossFit movements, running, and Hot Yoga classes.
My Athletic Background
I regularly play recreational sports
I've always worked out, been a runner for 30+ years. I regularly get outdoors and enjoy skiing, running, walking, hiking. I graduated with a BA in Physical Education with an emphasis on Athletic Training and an Instructor Certificate.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have attended one or more specialty courses
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I've been doing CrossFit for over 2 years now. It has definitely changed my life, my body, my strength, and my outlook on life.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 1x a week
I typically rest fewer than 4 days per month
Somedays I will join in a Hot Yoga class later in the afternoon or evening. It's been a great compliment to my CrossFit workouts.
