How I Eat

I'm on and off the Paleo diet. I'm Filipino so naturally we love rice and getting off the stuff is pretty difficult. I've gotten better in not eating but I can't resist moms cooking. So when it comes close to performance time or events, I'm on a strict Paleo diet as much as possible, but on the off season I have my rice and grains but more sparingly than before.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I workout mostly at home, work, or a traditional gym

I usually stick to CrossFit but once in a while I head back to my old gym to get in some weight lifting. I try to add in my other fitness hobbies such as rock climbing and kick boxing but recently, I've been CrossFit 100%

My Athletic Background

I have no athletic background besides CrossFit

Been the chubby kid my entire life. It was only until 2009 when I reached my heaviest weight of 299 when I decided to make a change. Played intramurals in college when I could but didn't get to play in high school.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

CrossFit is awesome and I love it. The End.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

Because of my work schedule it's hard to CrossFit every weekday, but if I can I will go to my box and WOD everyday. I work 3, 12 hour shifts a week then get 4 days off. I usually rest Saturdays and try to workout every day whether it be running, WODing, or at my old gym.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

6-12 months
