How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
Stick with whole foods most of the time. Supplement with protein drink and energy bars.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
To get better at Crossftit, I train more Crossfit with other Crossfitters:) I try to get out for biking and trail running, occasionally.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I grew up in a very atheletic family; my parents and 3 brothers all helped sharpen my competitive side! After HS sports, I took up running and competed in half, full and ultra marathons. All other atheletic pursuits had been for fun and fitness: mtn biking, hiking and extended backpacking....
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I train other people
...then I found Crossfit and was completely hooked from day one! I finally found a sport I LOVED and did pretty well at. After one year I set a dream goal of making it to Worlds and now, two years later, I am here!
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
I work as a personal trainer/coach which provides me with a lot of opportunity to get workouts in.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Crossfit is the center piece of my fitness. I love the bonding and community aspect that sprouts from intense workouts!! From day one, this sport significantly effected my world!
