I am weak in multiple events over a day, get too stiff, too beat. Always nursing injuries, but I love running the Garage Games!
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I teach and follow the healing diet twice a year, and then eat clean low glycemic yet biblical foods regularly.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I write my own programming
I am not trying to accomplish any specific goal for my fitness right now, up and to the right. Want to insure i continue to improve my adventure racing, while making sure that I get stronger, and really the only thing i want is to see if i can crack the sub 7 minute helen. I have too many weaknesses from injury that would be called out with technique specific lifts, to think i will ever be any use in CF competition (OHS, Sq Snatch, right leg pistols).
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
Collegiate hockey, won two National championships, love sport, and now it is CrossFit and Adventure Racing.

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

Six years ago Fran took me 18 minutes (i just hit a wall on the thrusters)

I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
