How I Eat
I weigh and measure my food
I eat strict Paleo
I have not learned to eat a "cheat meal" weekly. Too much guilt! I have had dreams of what that "cheat meal" does to me!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
At Crossfit Roseburg we have coaches who program the workouts for the members. we are all encouraged to record our workouts to see our weakness and where we can improve and also to see how we improve.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played volleyball, basketball, softball and track in junior high and high school.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have always worked out.. I used to run A LOT!!!! I have a friend who works in the xray department tell me about crossfit. I was hooked from the start. I can't be without it. Everywhere I travel I look for a crossfit to visit. I travel a lot to watch my daughter play softball in college. I've gone to crossfits wherever she plays.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
When I first started crossfit I took no rest days! One of the coaches informed me of the importance of resting muscles. I then went to resting on Sundays. Now I am resting on Thursdays, as well. Sometimes I will workout on Thursdays, if my schedule is going to be different that week.
