Bio

Growing up I was pretty much involved in every sport possible for at least a season. Throughout high school I played soccer, hockey, volleyball and ran cross country and then ended up going to college on a soccer scholarship. I played 4 years for Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. After my eligibility was up, I was determined not to become the "lazy over weight ex-college athlete" so I started running marathons. This eventually transitioned into triathlons and I was training for an Ironman when I first discovered crossfit. Needless to say, I never completed that Ironman. I was hooked and have never looked back. I do still compete in a race every now and again, just for fun. I also still play soccer once a week and have recently joined the local competitive Roller Derby team.

ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat healthy most of the time but every now and then a girl just needs a cheeseburger or some ice cream!

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

I like variety and consider myself a jack of all trades but master of few. I play soccer, volleyball, run, snowboard, do triathlons and of course crossfit. But I also throw in jazzercise, step aerobics and beer-pong ..... you know, just to mix it up a bit
