How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat whatever is convenient
I did the Whole 30 diet and fricken hated it. Now I eat sensible and because I work/workout hard I treat myself to not so healthy foods like cheesecake and Ice cream on occasion.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
5 days a week at 5 A.M. Occasionally on Sunday.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
Baseball Fanatic and now addicted to Crossfit way of life.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
We are fortunate enough to have one of the elite women in all of Crossfit at our gym. She has placed 13th, 7th and 15th in the world the last three years. She also happens to be my boss and girlfriends sister. Watching her develop over the course of a year and a half was amazing and when she suggested we try it, we did and have never looked back. Crossfit is so addicting that it pisses me off. Can't stay home even when I want too.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
At 47 years young You bet I get my recovery time. My Ego was deflated my third week in and has never returned.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
Wish we had this as kids growing up.
