Started working out in High School and have been obsessed with fitness every since. Nutritionally I have always sought the best and most healthy way to eat. I currently eat mostly primal with some dairy mixed in, as I tolerate it well. I discovered Crossfit from my cousins and have been hooked ever since. Once I joined an affiliate in my area, CSC, I have grown so much. The past two and a half years has been quite a journey. It has been interesting adjusting to being bigger and getting stronger. Looking forward to continuing to grow in all areas of my life. As a soon to be father, I hope that I can lead a life that my children will love to tell their kids about.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
very influenced by the crossfit/paleo community. my diet consists of mostly meat, eggs, fruit, starch as sweet potatoes and rice, vegetables, nuts, seeds, cheese, milk & greek yogurt. i supplement my diet with protein powder/shakes as well as fish oil, a multi-vit and essential amino acids, among others.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

i train 5 days a week at Cincinnati Strength & Conditioning (Crossfit Steel Place). i follow the "being" program as outlined on the very famous OPT site by James Fitzgerald.
My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
I never played sports. I started working out in high school and fitness has been a passion of mine ever since then.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I have been doing Crossfit since 2010. Three years ago a cousin of mine passed away and it really affected me in a momentous way. He was very much into fitness and that inspired me to be the best version of myself. Immediately after I returned home from the funeral, I joined a gym and started getting at it. Once I found out he did Crossfit I started getting on the mainsite and ever since then Ive been hooked. Occasionally I get friends or family members to workout with me and introduce them to different Crossfit concepts. You can find me every week at CSC getting stronger and better conditioned.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
