Started out on January 7th of 2012 weighing in at 297lbs. I decided that enough was in fact enough and needed to change a few things in my life. My wife and I adopted a Paleo Diet and stuck to it strictly allowing me to shed nearly 50lbs in the first few months without any exercise. I then noticed I was reaching a plateau and knew I had to incorporate exercise in to keep moving forward. I started Crossfit at Red River Crossfit in April of the same year doing the first exercising since my high school soccer days. It was hard but I stuck to it and along with the Paleo Diet reached my weight goal at the time of 187lbs. I had lost in total 110lbs and achieving a lower body weight than what I weighed at my high school graduation. I give all the credit to my community and coaches at RRCF for keeping me motivated and keeping it fun.
