I've been doing CrossFit since 2011. A friend got me to try it out. I figured I would give it 6 months to see how we got along. Turns out, I love it. I noticed huge differences in pretty much everything I did. So, I've kept up with it, albeit on and off, since then. I find that the WOD's work out well for how I like to maintain fitness. I pretty much can't stand going into a gym in the traditional sense to work out. XFit WOD's are WAY more fun and very effective to boot. XFit helps me to be able to better do all the things I like to do in life like cycling, rock climbing, skiing, existing, etc. A big thing that I really appreciate is that this style of fitness crosses into pretty much everything in daily life. There are periods when I haven't been able to do XFit and I notice it. All that, and the sense of community makes it a win for me, no matter what my time, reps, PR's, etc. are. All that said, I'm a photographer that shoots architecture and enjoys outdoor activities, food and good people.
