A career firefighter that decide to get healthier and fitter about 2 1/2 years or so ago. As things turned out Crossfit and the great folks at my gym were just the ticket to getting on the right track. Even though weight loss wasn't my focus ( being healthier was), the next thing I knew 50lbs of me, was gone. OK..some interruptions from life events and an ongoing fight with some bad joints caused me to lose focus on Crossfit and being a lot healthier. So, here's to the Open,, a refocusing on being fit, and having fun.

My Work/Rest Schedule
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
Joint (mostly shoulder) issues kick in on occasion and have made me very aware of the need for rest days.
