I'm a 42 year old husband and father of three young children. I was an active, yet not really athletic, child, playing lots of backyard basketball as well as high school football. About ten years ago, I started exercising pretty regularly. I've done all sorts of routines -- yoga, cycling, group fitness, and now CrossFit. The CrossFit routine started about six months ago. I'd like to lose about 10 more pounds. I still cycle pretty regulary - about 2000 miles/year. While I'm a competitive dude, I've come to realize that I'm probably not going to win the Open. Last year I finished in the top 92 percent. Hope to crack the top 90 this year! Let's give it a go anyway.
How I Eat
I eat in streaks. Sometimes, I eat perfectly. And, sometimes, I eat junk. I find that if I concentrate on drinking lots of water, I feel best and lose weight. When I venture away from that habit, I gain weight and feel worse.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I workout at Crossfit Murfreesboro -- primarily at the 5:30 am MWF class and when I can on Saturday.

I cycle pretty regularly as well.
