Bio

I am a Firefighter/EMT/Hazmat Tech/ Rope rescue for a chemical plant. I compete in the Firefighter Combat Challenge from May to November. I also like competing in 5K mud/obstacle races. I love my crossfit family!! I don't do Paleo, but I do cut down on gluten, sugar and carbs. I have been married for 24 years and I have 2 beautiful daughters.

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I tried Paleo diet but it made me weak and not feel well. I do a modified diet with low carb, gluten and sugar.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I record my workouts

From December to March, I strickly do Crossfit and some running (2 miles). From April to November I train on a firefighting course for the Firefighter Combat Challenge, but still try to crossfit twice a week. I take 2 days off per week. I work a 12 hour shift and have a busy, busy life so getting in my workouts is tough.

I played youth or high school level sports

I regularly play recreational sports

I've played volleyball, softball, soccer, track, cheerleading, firefighting or anything else that I find my way into. I am very competitive which keeps me active.
