How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
My diet leans towards paleo with ample amounts of fruits and vegetables but I also enjoy bread, tortillas and occasionally rice.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
3 to 4 days a week are spent at Crossfit Santa Cruz Central following the programed workout and usually 2 days are spent working out of my garage gym on specific areas.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
Played all the youth sports and football in High School. Played rec softball until I was 45. Started running at age 19 and have continued ever since. Got into weigh lifting in my late 20's.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have attended one or more specialty courses
I train other people
Competed in the 2007, 2008 and 2013 Crossfit Games. Competed in the 2009 Nor Cal Regionals & the 2010 Norcal Sectionals. Team member Masters division 3 time winners of the Santa Cruz Affiliate Competition. Competed in the 2013 & 2014 NorCal Masters. Tore my biceps tendon days prior to the 2010 regional masters qualifier and have slowly worked my way back. I train at Crossfit Santa Cruz Central.

I usually only do 1 workout a day
I do multiple workouts in a day 1x a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
typically 4 on 1 off 1 on 1 off
