Bio

Missed last years open due to a brocken neck.. Suffered two weeks before open. Wasn't sure if I'd be able to compete in crossfit again let alone not be in a wheel chair.. Luck was with me. A successful 6 hour surgery, fused c5 and c6, bone frag removed, some synthetic tissue to cover damage to nerve trunk and some added titanium hardware.. Long hard recovery. Unbelievably back to my maxes and cardio levels I reached just before accident.. What a way to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of successful surgery on march 5...thanks to St. Micheals Hospital in Toronto and my coaches at Huronia Crossfit..
