How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I have a coach who determines my programming

My programming is done by Darren Coughlan from Crossfit Newcastle. The program is called Give'm Cold Steel (givemcoldsteel.com). I've been following it for 2 years now.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I started competing in October 2010 and won my first provincial competition, then I went on to do the open, securing a spot for regionals and finally placed second in the Canada East region and qualified for the 2011 Reebok Crossfit games. It was a wonderful experience, more than words can say and I was able to secure 25th place.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

Monday through Friday I do two sessions a day, (GCS programming in the A.M. and Crossfit Newcastle general programming in the P.M.
