I've been working out regularly one way or another since about 25 yrs old. I'm limited due to a spine surgery a few years ago that went pretty well. If I mess up and overdo it, I'll be back under the knife with a long recovery and no guarantee of success. Don't want that! My motto: Modifying to your body's needs is an art form - no injuries allowed! Outside the box I'm an insurance agent and artist.
How I Eat
I've been eating Paleo instinctually forever - suits me fine. My folks never had junk or snack food in the house - they were health conscious, rubbed off on me!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
In HS was on football, swimming and tennis teams. The latter was my strongest
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have attended one or more specialty courses
I encourage committed CF'rs to at least read the Level 1 course materials. It will really enhance your experience knowing the thinking and research behind it.
My Work/Rest Schedule
5x/week, Thurs & Sun are recovery days
