Bio

I am a work in progress when it comes to crossfit. I am strong and can usually RX all weight in the WOD's, but I need a lot of improvement in my gymnastic skills. I have to scale any workouts that require pull ups, HSPU, and ring dips. Though I have improved a lot over the last year, I still need a lot of work. I am hoping to see where I stand in the world of crossfit, to help me narrow down the areas I need the most improvement. Diet is also a huge work in progress and my biggest area of struggle. By putting myself under the microscope of the Open, I hope to really buckle down on my diet and get into a solid program. I have a great Box and know I will get all the support I need to make this a successful run. Thanks to everyone at Overload for the motivation and support!

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

Diet is hit and miss. I eat healthy for the most part but my biggest struggle is staying away from sweets.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I am part of 2 crossfit gyms, but have a very random schedule. I would like to be more consistent with doing daily WOD's and Olympic Lifting classes. Some days I make it 5 days a week, while others I might only make it once.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I am a firefighter and do WOD's at work with my crew when I am not at home. I have around 2 years experience with crossfit, but I am still learning new techniques every week. I still consider myself a beginner.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

My routine is very random. It is hard to stick to a solid program with my crazy work schedule, especially in summer. My goal it to maintain consistency with daily WOD's and diet.
