Had some injuries and life events last year that affected my training last year. I'm on a good path now and am looking forward to what my results will be this year. Working on improving my coaching technique, and the start of my new career in EMS. Just looking to really enjoy life!
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat whatever is convenient
I know that my diet will be one of the things I will need to dial in to continue to see improvements.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I incorporate CrossFit.com workouts
I record my workouts
I've been enjoying lifting more often these days.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
Other than triathlons and runs, I've been playing rugby on and off for the past 15 years. Rugby has how ever come to a stop at this time (or has it???).
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
Was introduced to it by an old rugby buddy. He was in his 50's and WAY fitter than I was. It has been such a positive in my life that I'm doing more to give back to this community.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I do have to say my workout schedule has increased this year, with heavy focus on endurance.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
2011 was my first time in the Open. I look forward to this event every years since then.
