I have been active my whole life. Spent a good deal of my younger years outdoors. Wrestled, played football, ran track in high school and college. Walked the Pacific Crest Trail in 1999 from Mexico to Canada. Like alpine mountaineering and steep, scary skiing. Rock climbing. Learning to surf. I do internet health companies that are bleeding edge and creative. Get up everyday with the intention of being a good husband as well as earning the respect and love of my wife and family. Three great kids: Douglas, Catie, and Zak.
How I Eat
I eat strict Paleo
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
probably 80-90% paleo. Like red wine. completely organic and grassfed.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I incorporate CrossFit.com workouts
I write my own programming
I do Crossfit 4x a week and hit a gym to practice and work on things 2-3 times a week. Sometimes do yoga.

I regularly play recreational sports
I train in crossfit to support my winter sports. Love climbing mountains and skiing off of them. enjoy rock climbing.

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I do multiple workouts in a day 2x a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I find that I get run down if I train more than 4 days in a row. Don't quite have the endurance and recovery that I did when I was younger but I find that I work more on technique.
