I have been a runner for 14 years but after injuring my Achilles tendon last year I needed something new to stay in shape. I started doing Crossfit and for the first time in more than a decade I saw my body change. In the past I would just try to run more and more in order to get skinny- Crossfit helped me see how strong I could be and changed my body in a way I didn’t think was possible. I will always be a runner because I love the freedom of being outside but Crossfit challenges me in a totally new way. I love learning new movements and pushing myself to do things I never thought I could! This will be my first open so I'm not sure how it will go!
