My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
I was a recreational cyclist in my 20s. I did triathlon for three years in my early 40s. PRs: 2nd AG Olympic 2011 and 5th AG Half-Iron 2011. CrossFit is the first time I've been coached and felt part of a "team."
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
Triathlon training is a lonely life. I appreciate the community of CrossFit, the friendships, accountability, and the mental agility it takes to learn so many skills I've never touched before, like Oly lifts and gymnastics.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
