Bio

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, but now reside in Chattanooga, TN. College graduate of Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN with Corporate/Community Wellness Management B.S. I am a personal trainer and love being active in various sports and specific competitions. Always looking to push myself more and more to see what exactly is my limit...nice knowing if there is one and/or feeling the limit smack you down upon trying to push it. Love having a good time and having fun with friends, but love training just as much if not more. Just something about making the machine we call the human body, our home and the temple go above and beyond what was thought impossible. Growth in mind, spirit, and body....

ATHLETE INFORMATION

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat whatever is convenient

I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week

I am super active and needing lots of food at all times. Wake up early and calm it down early is the plan, but usually ends up starting early and ending late. Always getting my complete servings of fruits, nuts and veggies in, eat a very high protein based diet and essential "timing" carbs. My cheat meals I eat during midday hours and on days that are going to be heavy lifts to keep my metabolism roaring.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I workout mostly at home, work, or a traditional gym

I incorporate CrossFit.com workouts

I write my own programming

I record my workouts

Monday-Front Squat, Tuesday-Strict Press and Snatches, Wednesday-Deadlifts, Thursday-Bench and Cleans/Jerks, Friday-Back Squat. Core lifts are always done and use percentages to keep linear progression. Work on skill's 5 days a week, mostly my GOATS, which are double unders and handstand push ups which are getting better along with handstand walks and muscle ups. I wod 3x's a week and run, row or swim 1-2x's a week. Therapy everyday of the week. Only way to keep the body functioning with so much demand that Crossfit gives. Rest "active recovery" once a week.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played college sports

I regularly play recreational sports

Basketball and soccer are my main sports.
