I am a Chiropractor and I work 6 days a week. My job is very hard on my body, but staying up with CrossFit has kept me strong and gives me the endurance to perform at a high energy and physical level all day every day.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I try to focus on eating lean proteins and veggies, however I do not measure or weight my food. I will also do several cheat meals a week. I am on a journey to better nutritional health. I came from a collegiate football background, and as a lineman I developed bad nutritional habits. I am currently trying to break those habits.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I currently train 3 days a week at a CrossFit Affiliate. I am trying to throw in another WOD to make it 4 a week. I also do Yoga once a week and I am currently about to start incorporating more cardio in my regiment.
My Athletic Background
I played college sports
Division 3 Collegiate athlete at Hardin-Simmons University. I was a defensive lineman aka nose-tackle.
My Experience With CrossFit
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I feel that I have rekindled the flame that I once had to train and be healthy since I started CrossFit 6 months ago.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I do multiple workouts in a day 1x a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
Monday, Wednesday, Friday-WOD Monday evening occasional second workout Tuesday-Yoga Additional Cardio sessions in the works
