How I Eat
I eat strict Paleo
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I have an occassional glass of wine. Nobody is perfect!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I write my own programming
I record my workouts
I travel alot so I either visit a sister affiliate or make my own WODs and then murder them in front of the meatheads at Golds.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I regularly play recreational sports
Shotput, hammer, discus, and Olympic weightlifting in college. Softball, beach volleyball, snow skiing, wakeboarding, golf, and Crossfit in adulthood.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I specialize in coordinating charity and fun events and I am a behind the scenes Regional volunteer who hopes to move into judging in local/regional competitions. I am a volunteer writer for the NorthWest Region CrossFit Media team and the CrossFit Community page.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 1x a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I complete 5 competition-level CrossFit workouts per week with days programmed in for endurance running or yoga. I strive for two days of rest per week with only mobility or recovery work on those days.
