I'm a primary care paramedic who has spent the last 10 years working in small communities throughout Northern Ontario, Canada. I currently live near the city of Sault Ste. Marie and this will be my fifth time competing in the CF open. I compete because all the cool kids are doing it, and because I enjoy the personal challenges it brings physically and mentally. I find every year the open provides me great highs and lows. Both the positive and negative experiences help me to grow, both as an athlete and a person.
