How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I work in a commercial kitchen, coworkers hand me meat on a stick or bring me spoonfuls of things. I cook often. While I probably eat more than necessary, it tends to be clean food prepared fresh. I shoot for and hit a goal of two salads a day.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
I rode BMX as a teen, then ran a little in my 20's/ 30's then found bootcamp at 40, and crossfit at 44.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I am more fit now than at probably any other point in my life, I take care to avoid injury by leaving my ego and competitive drive at home.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I try to get 4-5 classes a week, but don't murder myself if I need to take a few days to recover. My job is active (restaurant manager, lots of walking and bending and carrying) so sometimes I need to reserve energy for work.
