I played college sports
Prior to joining cross fit I hadn't done any consistent exercise since I had my three boys ... almost 10 years ago. And what I'm calling "exercise" probably doesn't count when measuring against a WOD.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I try to go to a crossfit class at least 4 times a week. With work and travel I often do home wods or hotel wods.
