How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I manage about 90% compliance overall with strict Paleo selections. Possibly even a little better than that. I have proven to myself that Paleo diet and lifestyle most definitely raises energy level and levels hunger/food cravings.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
My primary Crossfit training is classes, 5 days per week. I frequently make Saturday Team WODs. I do additional mobility work in the evenings. At home, I occasionally run sprints and do other body weight and low barbell weight exercises, -time permitting. I record my workouts and set goals and objectives for work in class and at home.
My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
I maintained USN fitness standards for Diving and Salvage Diver while in the US NAVY during 1975 - '97. I played HS football and wrestling in the mid 70's, but that was a while ago.
My Experience With CrossFit

I began Crossfit one year ago in late January 2013 after doing infrequent, irregular workouts of various kinds for many years. Still working to achieve good form in several of the primary movements. Still working to master the Oly lifting movements. After a year, I am leaner than at any time before. I was stronger while in the USN, but I am on a definite improvement track.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I typically rest fewer than 4 days per month
I do primarily only one workout per day, but when I can I do skill work or at least mobility in the evenings. All of my classes are taken in the early AM before going to work. I try to get at least 7 hours sleep. I try to get at least one complete rest day per week,-usually Sunday.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
End of January 2014 will be one year anniversary at HCF.
