How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
When I'm on the ship for 6 months of the year, it is strict zoned because the quality of food is slower caliber. On vacation, we eat paleo with the allowance of cheat meals,mostly ice cream on occasions.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I write my own programming
I record my workouts
I work 3 months on/off cargo ships, sailing around the world so half of my year is spent doing WODs on the confines of a 393ft vessel wherever room can be found. My programming is handled on my own there, devised overran annual plan.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I regularly play recreational sports
I aman avid duck hunter, outdoorsman and adventure junkie. Board sports are my avenue of focus though.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 1x a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically follow a 2-1-3-1 work/rest schedule. On the ship, most days consist of two workouts, one being a WOD or strength component and the other being a skill based session determined by reps or time. There is a lot of down time,so better to be productive and,ame time fly.
