My Work/Rest Schedule
I strictly schedule my rest days
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I've found that by doing the recommended 3 days on/1 day off, i was struggling on that 3rd day. Also, at 45 yrs old, my recovery after 3 hard days was quite painful. Now i try to do 2 days on with 1 maybe 2 days off (depending on my work schedule). I've found that i go harder on those 2 days and the recovery was not as traumatic. What the body does & what the mind thinks it can do are two very different things at 45.
