How I Eat
I eat strict Paleo
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
What the hell am I doing here? Doing CrossFit, that is. I think, "Well, I'm doing this to stay fit?" Okay then why do I care whether I'm 52nd, 50th or 71st in the world (in my age group, always have to add the qualifying caveat). And speaking of qualifying, will I? For The Games? Ever? And why is that suddenly so important? I'm getting fitter after all. Why do I need shirts and shorts with my name on them? Well, I don't know why. But I do feel the need for them. And chances are, if you're reading this, you do too. So good luck to the both of us. With CrossFit. With qualifying. And with getting our questions answered.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
I do what my coaches tell me, when they tell me to do it. All is well.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
Why I think I love CrossFit so much is, it reminds me of my days as a high school athlete—we had coaches, not trainers; we were all members of a team; we wanted to be faster or hit harder than our teammates, but when they kicked our asses, we congratulated them.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
It's sick, not at all normal and I wouldn't want it any other way.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
Generally five WODs and three Oly workouts.
