How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
Never measure, but I've done a complete 180 from the way I used to eat.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
Every other day, after a WOD, I will throw a 2 mile run in.
My Athletic Background
I played youth or high school level sports
I played college sports
I regularly play recreational sports
Grew up playing baseball, but ran track in High School and College, played football in College. I play competitive rec Volleyball and Softball now.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
After about 2 years of "should I/shouldn't I do this" talk in my head, finally drank the koolaid. CrossFit Oldtown has opened my eyes and helped me realize that my workouts prior to CFOT were soft. I was tired of other people being in better shape than I was :-P
My Work/Rest Schedule
I usually only do 1 workout a day
I'll supplement my off-days with a long run and light WODing just to get the heart pumping. Usually only take 1 day of complete rest, and even those days, I'm probably playing volleyball anyway.
