CrossFit at first was just a way to lose weight, then I wanted the 6 pack that I kept seeing on all the CrossFit ads. Now I simply want one thing...improvement. My numbers have gone up my times have gone down. The scale is collecting dust and the bumpers are getting worn. There have been no sacrifices because I want this more than anything else.

My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
My mom was getting concerned with my lethargy and I recognized she had good reason...I was 5' 10" and 212 pounds, no muscle definition, no stamina to speak of. Beer and chips with some CoD was the post work routine. Then in May 2011 came Q CrossFit. Lauren took me on my on ramp ride. It took a week for my body to recover but I got my ass back in that gym. Almost 2 years and 30 lbs later I am sticking with it and CrossFit is now in my pile of "No Fail" expenses. I love this sport and the community that surrounds it! WoD on! From there I moved to CrossFit Morristown and my level of training has been elevated to prepare me for competition. I now train with the most driven individuals in CrossFit. We train for each other and that makes us stronger than we ever could have been individually.
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I strictly schedule my rest days
Comp Team training. Multiple Modalities worked everyday to improve skill and endurance
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
May 21st will be 3 years. One of the few anniversaries I have burned into my brain.
