sport background in competitive swimming and swam at county level during secondary school when i lived up in the north of England. then when i was 13 i moved down to poole in Dorset where from the age of 14-15 i started moutain biking multiple times a week which tailed off towards the end of the summer of 2012 where i started swimming again with a local swim club which i did for a year during that time i was also training in pool diving. during the summer of 2013 i was working at portland marena which i cycled and took the train to and as a result became very fit with cycling. when this job ended at in september of the same year i didn't have a job or any sport that i was pursuing so started running 11+ miles every wednesday evening and some other days and i also started running with lead diving weights in my pack for more of a challange. this was around the time i came accords crossfit as i was looking in to doing some adventure races and some spartan style races and then after much research which in evolved watching you tube videos i singed up to Bournemouth crossfit's back to basics cause which started at the beginning of 2014 and have been doing crossfit solidly multiple times a week ever since
