Since i started CrossFit in January 2011 it was just for some fun, now its my life ill be competing in CrossFit for as long as i can and hopefully make a future out of it.
How I Eat
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I eat whatever is convenient
I eat 1-3 full cheat meals per week
Im not following any diet plan, i listen to my body, when i feel like something i eat it, but 6 out of 7 days is usually good quality food. Except for Ben & Jerrys ice-cream sweet cookies and cream, whenever i see that i must buy it.
How I Train
I have a coach who determines my programming
I train at CrossFit North Head in Manly NSW, the gym is the best set up I've ever seen, amazing crew to train with that are all terrific CrossFitters. I follow my coaches programming that he sends to me.
My Athletic Background
I was always naturally a decent athlete at any type of sport, but i surely wasn't the best. But when i done my first CrossFit WOD i knew that this was my sport and i know now this is what I'm suppose to do.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course
I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit
I train other people
My first exposure to CrossFit was 20 min AMRAP 400m run max pull-ups That smoked me, couldn't move for days, but i loved it and came back for more. Every workout in the gym i give 100%
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I typically rest 4 or more days per month
I usually rest on Thursdays & Sundays and some Saturdays, but i listen to my body, when i feel banged up and i need to rest i have a day off and just do mobility.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
