Addicted to Crossfit, part of my life now. Very thankful for this healthy "cult". Slowly but surely! :)

How I Eat

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I eat 100% Paleo 80% of the time!

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

Our box is awesome, couldn't train by myself. We train and can feel everyone breathing our neck, it's very intense. This is the advantage of having a smaller box, we feel the competition, the pressure, the sweat and the friendship of everyone training with you!

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I regularly play recreational sports

Never played any specific intense sport except alpine skiing 50 times per winter until I moved to CA.

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)

I heard of Crossfit from a teammate that I met during training for a 1/2 marathon. He is an engineer like me, siting on his butt every day for long hours and it went out of control until he found out about Crossfit and lost like 100lbs. I looked at him, all toned and muscular and this is all it took for me to go and try Crossfit. I didn't need too much convincing. Also the fact that our box is actually a "garage" made wanna join even more, I like the hardcore no "fu fu" gym. I'm glad that I have joined this good "cult"!

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I typically rest 4 or more days per month

I started working out 3x a week for 6 months and then 4-5x a week. Also doing a mobility class on Wednesday, and also trying to run once and a while.

How long have you been doing CrossFit?

6-12 months

Still a baby crossfitter!!! Loooong way to go still.
