How I Eat

I weigh and measure my food

I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount

I try to eat as Macro as possible. I use the zone. I have a good eye for portion and grams per meal. I am learning better recipies all the time from the CF Journal, and zone websites.

How I Train

I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate

I record my workouts

I have swtiched boxes this year. I am now coaching and working out at CF Max Effort. I still have love for Tillman training though.

My Athletic Background

I played youth or high school level sports

I played many sports all the way into college, but then found a love for Athletic Training and strength and conditioning. I played Basket Ball, Lacrosse, soccer and track. I have a love for the outdoors and hiked and rock climbed. When I was with the National Strength and Conditioning Assoc. I went and studied Oly lifting in China for a month. That was an amazing experience

My Experience With CrossFit

I began CrossFit by trying it alone (without a coach)

I have completed the CrossFit Level 1 certificate course

I have attended one or more specialty courses

I have had a life changing experience due to CrossFit

I train other people

I was headed toward a crossfit style of training and working out even before I knew what it was. I was a typical lifter/ bodybuilder type, but I had all this knowledge from all the different types of training I had done like NSCA Oly lifting, MMA, Boxing, and sport specific training. I was starting to combine a lot of this when I found CF. That was it I loved it and it kicks my but everyday. There are no limits to CF there is always one more rep, one second faster, one more round.

My Work/Rest Schedule

I usually only do 1 workout a day

I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week

I usually do 3 traditional CF workouts with high MetCon, and 2 days of Strength work (DL, SQ, Press). I also practice movements and gymnastics before or after WOD's. So I guess I am a 5 on 2off.
