How I Eat
I eat strict Paleo
I've been gluten free and cassein free for approximately 2.5 years. With strict Paleo I had to eliminate soy and honey from my diet too. I will be very strict during training...but afterward celebrate with some wine and dark chocolate!
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I have a coach who determines my programming
I record my workouts
I love to work out with my CrossFit Akron family. I am starting to watch training videos to help me perfect my form. I have trusted my box to come up with my programming. I try to focus on skills that I know are weaker.
My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
I did some running and yoga when my children were little. At 50 I bought myself a sea kayak and i began to work out some to stay in shape and keep up with my friends who are all younger. A friend at work suggested I try a triathlon that involved kayaking. I added bicycling to my repertoire of great things to do. I joined a gym and met my current CrossFit owner there. When he left the gym to open his own CrossFit affiliate, I followed him out!
