I'm not quite ready to lift fast and heavy, but I'm going to give it my all as if I were a seasoned athlete. It's go time!
How I Eat
I eat strict Paleo
I eat quality foods but don't measure the amount
I've been eating primal for about 6 months. I just started eating strict paleo (including no alcohol) in late February (so far so good). I do not plan cheat meals/days and I try to avoid cheating as much as possible. I only cheat when there's something special/unique available, and even then, I still avoid grain products. I don't measure anything--I just eyeball it. I only eat when I'm hungry--some days it's one or two meals. Some days it's four.
How I Train
I workout mostly at a CrossFit Affiliate
I record my workouts
I also jog and run on off-days anywhere from 3 to 8 miles depending on the whether.
My Athletic Background
I have no athletic background besides CrossFit
The last sport I played was Track and Field in middle school. I injured my left leg at the hip and my running career as a student athlete was over. I didn't bother with athletics again until I came to CrossFit 20 years later.
My Experience With CrossFit
I began CrossFit with a coach (e.g. at an affiliate)
I began and continue to train at CrossFit CLE in Cleveland, OH
My Work/Rest Schedule
I do multiple workouts in a day 3+ times a week
I've been doing CrossFit for a year and it's changed my life. I was doing the WOD five days a week, but an elbow injury kept me from training intensely for some time. I'm back at it again, WODing three days a week, but my strength is lower than before the injury. My primary focus is form and endurance as I get back into the swing of things and get my strength back where it should be.
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
I've been at it for one year and a month.
